About The Author Kamal Niranjan Kamal Niranjan is a Bengaluru based software engineer and author with a deep-seated passion for Indian history and mythology. He made a significant literary debut with his historical bestseller, Hakka & Bukka: Dawn of the Vijayanagara Empire, which earned critical acclaim in prominent publications such as the Deccan Herald and Pune Mirror.

Among his translation works, Kamal was honoured with the Nalli Thisai Ettum Award by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetti. This prestigious recognition was bestowed for his meticulous translation of two spiritual biographies by Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetti titled: ‘Sage Extraordinaire Seshadri Swamigal’ and ‘A Hagiography of Padagacheri Ramalinga Swamigal’.
