He has served as “R&D Engineer” at Swede (India) Teltronics Ltd, as “Senior Engineer” at Pulsetone Industries, and as “Lecturer” at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, all at Bengaluru. He is currently working as “Professor & Head” in the department of Electronics & Communication at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru. The author is the disciple of Yogashree A. S. Narasimhamurthy, the founder Acharya of Adishankara Yoga Kendra, Bengaluru. Since the year 2000, the author is involved in the teaching of the science of yoga, through the organization “Shreyas Centre for Yoga” at Bengaluru. The teaching process follows the Gurukula system of ancient India. Ashtangayoga of Pathanjali is being taught as junior level, which includes the rishiculture of Paramaguru Dr. Swami Geethananda Giri of Pondicherry. Later on for the aspirants, Rajayoga is being taught and practiced as senior level, following the teachings of Vedavyasa, Adi Shankaracharya, and the other anonymous seers and yogis.
